Basement Project in Westminister SW1V

Basement Details

Design a new kitchen and convert arched vaults existing beneath the public pavement. The design would free up the existing kitchen area to become another very valuable bedroom. To create this we would lift the pavement and remove the arches together with the internal walls and re-intsate with steels and a concrete slab. This was made more difficult by a listed lampost being right over the vaults. We also created a link vestibule from the faults to the existing apartment.
